Vuvuzela Game
The vuvuzela wasn't widely heard of before it started drowning out all other sounds at the South African World Cup of 2010, but the plastic, originally tin, 'instrument, originates from Mexico. (Tin vuvuzelas were banned at football matches as they were used as weapons!)
In fact, they are so loud that they can cause hearing damage in a quarter of an hour, hardly surprising when a stadium full of them being blown generates more noise than a chainsaw! When I first heard the vuvuzela at the South Africa world cup in 2010 I absolutely hated the sound, but by the end of the tournament, I sort of liked the atmosphere they create. Guess you can get used to anything eventually ... except my brother. Oh, and like this game as well. very noisy!
