Niamey Airport or to give it its full name Diori Hamani International Airport was named after Niger's first president Hamani Dior and is used by Mauritania Airways, Air Mali, Air Burkina, Air Algérie and Air France amongst others. It also serves as a military airport being home to Niger's armed forces' "Armee d'Air" and services under 100,000 passengers a year.

It is the only international airport in Niger and is located in the south-east of Niger's capital city Niamey. You can make a virtual landing at Niamey International airport in this video of an Air France flight as it travels in overland across Niger and makes its descent to the runway.
