This African wildlife camera is provided by National geographic and shows scenes from Botswana. Please note that the camera is not always live and sometimes shows recorded scenes, however all of these wildlife scenes are taken by the webcam.

Botswana is around 90% savannah, an ecosystem of dispersed trees and grassy woodland and is host to three national parks; the Chobe National Park, the Nxai Pan and Makgadikgadi National Park and the Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park. It also is home to seven major game reserves in addition to numerous private game reserves.

The country is home to numerous mammals including the aardwolf, buffalo, bush elephant, civet, golden cat, manatee, striped weasel, banded mongoose, bat-eared fox, black rhinoceros, black-footed cat, blue duiker, bongo (antelope), brown hyena, bushbuck, cape fox, cape fur seal, cape hyrax, caracal, cheetah, common duiker, common eland, gemsbok, giant sable antelope, giraffe, greater kudu, ground pangolin, hartebeest, hippopotamus, impala, kirk's dik-dik, klipspringer, lechwe, leopard, lion, marsh mongoose, meerkat, mountain zebra, oribi, plains zebra, roan antelope, sable antelope, serval, sharpe's grysbok, sitatunga, southern reedbuck, spotted hyena, springbok antelope, steenbok, topi, warthog, waterbuck, wildebeest, yellow mongoose and yellow-backed duiker.
